Hi Friends, welcome to my blog. Today I’m going to share 3 Reasons why people don’t ask questions. I am writing this because I want to educate myself to ask self -developing questions. I’m sure you also want to develop yourself to be better, right?
People who are good at asking questions will succeed. But I don’t. Because I’m not good at asking questions and I’m often ignored because I ask the wrong questions. So, I started thinking about Why People Don’t Ask Question? As teachers or leaders, we must know why our students or employees do not ask questions.
Here are 3 reasons why people don’t ask questions.
Why People Don’t Ask Question?
1. Think They know
People who think that they know it all no longer ask questions. They assume they know all the main things they need to know and they do not bother to ask more. They cling to their beliefs and remain certain in their assumptions – yet they often end up looking foolish.
2. Afraid of Asking Questions
Other people are afraid that by asking questions they will look weak, ignorant or unsure. They like to give the impression that they are decisive and in command of the relevant issues. They fear that asking questions might introduce uncertainty or show them in a poor light.
3. Always in a hurry
Finally, some people are in such a hurry to get things that they do not stop asking questions because it might slow them down. They risk rushing headlong into the wrong actions.
Conclusion
Martin Luther King, Jr. once said “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is,‘ What are you doing for others? ’. So, if you’re not good at asking questions, ask these questions to yourself so you can connect without having to ask. If you’re lucky, they’ll give you an answer even if you don’t ask.
